Price: €389 per participant, including instruction and a free season pass for the entire season.

This course is not suitable for complete beginners. Children should already have basic skiing skills and be able to ski relatively independently on the slopes.

The aim of the course is to pass on Sami Uotila’s knowledge, skills and expertise to future generations. The course can also serve as a stepping stone towards club and competitive skiing. Children get a versatile introduction to the sport and develop their skiing skills in a supportive environment.

The course has been operating since 1994. Training is led by our experienced ski instructors, with 16 instructors from our Ski School team.

If you are unable to attend your group’s regular session during a particular week, you can make up the missed session on the other course day that same week (Tuesday/Wednesday).

PLEASE NOTE: The Blue Group (ages 5–6) is intended for children who can manage relatively independently on the slopes. Instructors will, of course, help the children get started.

PLEASE NOTE: Children aged 3–5 have their own beginner-level course: Ratakerho.

SIBLING DISCOUNT

A €50 sibling discount is available when registering two or more children.

After the first child has been charged the regular course fee, each additional child receives a €50 discount.

The sibling discount is available only when paying by bank transfer and cannot currently be used through the online shop.

SEASON PASS

The season pass included in the course is loaded onto an Axess reloadable ski pass card (NEW!). Newer Skidata KeyCards are also accepted (card numbers starting with 01...).

Payment must be made in advance to secure your place in the Ratalaskukoulu.

INSURANCE

We recommend that all participants take out voluntary personal accident insurance.

Excerpt from the Ski School Contract Terms:

“The ski school is not obliged to provide the consumer with insurance covering injuries or other damage caused by the skier to themselves.”

GROUP SIZE

The Ratalaskukoulu accepts a maximum of 40 participants per group (Tuesday/Wednesday).

Paying the course fee secures your place – but remember to complete the registration form as well!
