BEGINNER COURSES ON SKIS OR SNOWBOARDS
These courses are suitable for school-aged children, approximately 7–14 years old.
Course participants receive discounted rental rates at our rental shop.
Vihti Ski’s slopes are ideal for beginners, with three magic carpet lifts serving those who are just starting out.
Welcome to our award-winning Ski School – just 45 km from Helsinki!
You can choose either a one-day or two-day course (100 minutes of instruction per day). We recommend the two-day course for the best learning experience.
Language of instruction: Finnish.
Weekend courses start in January 2027!
Separate courses are available for the Christmas holidays and Winter Holiday Week.

Huom! Edullinen lippuhinta, jos kurssilainen jatkaa
itsenäistä harjoittelua kurssitunnin jälkeen = 17€/loppupäivä + 8€ Axess SmartCard (voi tuoda oman toimivan etälukukortin). Axess SmartCard on etälukukortti, johon rinneliput ladataan, myös Skidatan uudemmat Keycardit toimivat (sarjanro 01....) Etälukukorttia ei tarvita opetuksen aikana, vain jos jää laskemaan opetuksen jälkeen.
Vuokraamossa alennettu hinta kurssilaisille: 25€/ setti (kypärä, monot/kengät, sukset/lauta, mahd. sauvat). HUOM! mainitse vuokraamossa "kurssivuokra"! Kurssivuokra sis. kyseisen päivän vuokrauksen eli jos jatkaa kurssiopetuksen jälkeen laskemista niin vuokra-aika kattaa tuon ajan.

COURSE PAYMENT & REGISTRATION

REMEMBER TO ALSO FILL IN THE REGISTRATION FORM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.
If you are unable to attend the course due to illness or another similar reason, we can refund the course fee or arrange a new course date.
We reserve the right to deduct any bank charges from the refund.
The course fee can also be paid at the ticket office upon arrival for the course.

If you need rental equipment, please arrive at the rental shop 30 minutes before the course starts.
On the course day, please check in at the ticket office. There you will receive directions to the course meeting point and other important information.
INSURANCE
We recommend that all participants have voluntary personal accident insurance.
Excerpt from the Ski Schools’ Terms and Conditions:
“2.6 The Ski School is not obligated to take out insurance for the consumer that covers injury or damage caused by the skier to themselves.”
SKI SCHOOL CANCELLATION POLICY

Free cancellation no later than 12 hours before the course starts. Cancellations can be made by email or phone.

Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the course will be charged at 50% of the course fee.
