SkiExpo – Free event for the entire ski community @ The Mall Of Tripla 24.10.2026
For many, the winter season begins long before the first snow. New equipment is exciting, seasonal news from ski resorts is exciting, and weekends are starting to appear on the calendar when thoughts are already on the slopes. SkiExpo will bring this anticipation together on Saturday, October 24, 2026 in Pasila, Helsinki, at The Mall of Tripla's Event Square, which has been a familiar stage for SkiExpo in recent years.
The annual SkiExpo is a meeting place for Finnish ski resorts, tourism operators, a few equipment brands and especially winter sports enthusiasts. The new, more compact format has been successfully in place since 2022!
Tripla makes the event approachable
Pasila is a natural place to arrive for many. Trains, trams, buses and shopping center services make Tripla an easy destination even for those coming from outside Helsinki. This fits the nature of SkiExpo, as the event serves all of Finland, not just the capital region.
SkiExpo is an important showcase for ski resorts
For Finnish ski resorts, SkiExpo is more than just a season-opening experience. It is a place to share what the winter season has in store and what new developments have been developed. Resorts can showcase their ski services, accommodation, family-friendly solutions, events and season pass options/offers.
From a visitor's perspective, this is useful because the differences between ski resorts are best seen in discussions. For some, the most important thing is a long day on the slopes and efficient lifts. For others, children's areas, a ski school, proximity to accommodation or easy access without a car are important. When these questions can be asked directly, the choice becomes easier.

Program on stage!
At 11 am, the stands are ready for the day and at the same time the stage program starts. Right at the top, accompanied by live commentary, is the "hot group" of the Sölden women's giant slalom, with the commentary provided by the sports legends Kalle Palander and Sami Uotila with solid professionalism. The highly anticipated program is "landing films from the giant screen". The films will be shown twice, at 12 pm and 4 pm. In addition, a few topical interviews will be conducted from the stage.
The event officially ends at 6 pm, but the restaurant area continues in the après ski spirit until 9 pm.
